Doors are important for both functionality and aesthetics

Our unique thermal frame is designed by our in-house technical team. Each part is carefully considered to bring you a strong, effective, and superior door. Thermal properties mean that less heat is lost or transferred through the door, making the building more energy efficient.

Our designers collaborate with our factory team and pull from customer feedback to provide the highest quality door solutions, which are fully tested to New Zealand standards.

French doors are essentially a double set of hinged doors but are great when you’re wanting a larger opening. French doors are also commonly used at the entrance of a home for a welcoming and large opening.

Couple a hinge or french door with awning windows or fixed windows to let in natural light or provide a range of ventilation options.

I'm doing a reno, can you supply the windows and doors?

add

Sorry, windows for renovation projects is not a service we offer. We specialise in windows and doors for new builds including new homes, multi-residential developments, and light commercial buildings.

What's the largest width you can do a stacker door?

add

There are a lot of variables! It depends on the height of the door, the structure of the building, and wind zone requirements. However, we have done a stacker door with a total width of 14m.

How can I get my doors with a flush track and no step?

add

All UNO doors come with a flush track. However, to ensure it is level with the outside, a builder will need to rebate or set down the doors. This is often prepped when the floor is poured. Standard rebate details can be downloaded from the technical downloads section above or we can work with builders for project-specific rebate details.

What is the difference between flush track and flush sill?

add

A flush track is part of the design of the aluminium frame, all UNO doors come with a flush track as standard. A flush sill is where there is no step from inside to out, as the door frame is set down or rebated. If a flush track isn't rebated, there will still be a slight step down to the outside area.
